Data processing even faster and more secure

In modern industrial PC applications such as AI, image processing, 5G, IIoT or edge computing, a large amount of data must be processed quickly and reliably. In addition to the embedded board with the corresponding performance, the main memory is also an important component that you should not disregard.

For such applications, we recommend the new DDR5 DRAM modules from Cervoz, which have been specially designed for industrial use. You can choose between 6 models with 8, 16 or 32 GB, each in DIMM or SO-DIMM version. Currently, the DDR5 memory modules work with a speed of 4800MT/s. Compared to DDR4 memory modules, which reach a maximum speed of 3200MT/s, this means an increase in bandwidth of 50%. In the future, performance increases to 6400MT/s are even planned for DDR5 memory modules.

The new DIMM channel architecture gives you two independent 40-bit sub-channels (32 data bits with eight ECC bits) per memory module (DIMM). With this new architecture, you get higher memory access efficiency and can enjoy lowered latency for data accesses to the memory controller.

The integrated ECC (Error Correction Code) function ensures the security of your data. It keeps the DDR5 memory modules stable by self-correcting errors, which effectively improves the reliability of the transfer. ECC-capable processors for servers and workstations have the coding to correct single or multiple bit errors.

The DDR5 memory modules also feature low voltage consumption and an operating temperature range of 0°C to 85°C.
