Add serial interfaces easily
Board extensions offer you as a system developer a simple and space-saving possibility to add missing interfaces to your embedded board. Thus you can use the same embedded board for different applications.
With the M.2 expansion boards MEC-COM-2012 and MEC-COM-2032i you extend your embedded board by two additional serial interfaces. The MEC-COM-2012 provides you with two additional RS-232 ports and with the MEC-COM-2032i you get two isolated RS-232/433/485 interfaces. All ports support baud rates of up to 921.6 Kbps.
With the 3-in-1 form factor you can use the expansion boards very flexible in M.2 2280, 2260 or 2242 slots. Existing predetermined breaking points on the carrier board make it easy for you to adjust to the correct length. And for easy installation, all expansion cards come with the matching bracket and DB9 connectors and cables. The approved operating temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C allows you to use the board expansions in numerous industrial applications.
