The PCIe x4 expansion cards MEC-LAN-P004 and MEC-LAN-P004P offer you four isolated GbE interfaces each and can be used in an operating temperature range from 0 °C to +70 °C. The MEC-LAN-P004P version also has a Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+) function that provides up to 25.5 W of power for each port via the Ethernet cable.
This allows you to save the power cable when connecting a PoE camera, for example, and provide power along with data over an Ethernet cable.
Both expansion cards are equipped with the Intel® I210 x 4 Ethernet controller, which achieves transfer rates up to 5.0/2.5 Gbps and supports the PTP protocol according to IEEE 802.3. For the connection of the plug-in cards on your board you only need a free PCIe slot.
