Current situation

In our company, too, the health of our employees*, our customers, our suppliers and their families is our top priority. For this reason, we implemented numerous measures at a very early stage to prevent the spread of the corona virus in the best possible way and still maintain business operations as smoothly as possible:

 

  1. Those employees who are able to do so work from their home offices.
  2. In production and logistics we work in two shifts to keep the distance between the individual employees as large as possible, but always at least 2m.
  3. Regular cleaning and disinfection of the premises

Reachability

For you, our customers, we are still available by phone, e-mail, chat or fax during our normal business hours. We will set up and provide further communication possibilities such as video conferencing.

Temporary transport surcharge

As you have probably heard through the media, a lot of flights are cancelled at the moment. This has a direct impact on the available freight capacities, which are decreasing daily. In addition to possible postponements, the price of air freight is also rising dramatically. Currently we are already at a doubling of the transport costs per kg volume weight compared to the usual rates.

 

Although we stock a lot of goods in our large warehouse here on site for you, we also have to procure goods at short notice. For years we have been using air freight to keep delivery times as short as possible. The additional costs incurred for this have been to date borne by us in their entirety. However, as the costs have risen disproportionately, we feel compelled to pass on part of these additional costs.

 

For this purpose we take the liberty of showing you this additional cost share in a separate item "Transportation cost surcharge COVID-19" and to invoice it to you.

 

Since the situation changes daily, we will adjust the transport cost surcharge accordingly.

Weekly price list

Until now we have updated our list prices on the 15th of each month. The current situation no longer allows us to let the prices rest for one month. The USD-EUR exchange rate alone was subject to a fluctuation of about 5% last week. Also our purchase prices for components are changing faster than usual.

 

Therefore we will update our list prices weekly and also adjust the validity of our offers to one week.

 

We thank you for your understanding for these temporary measures and hope that we will soon be able to return to normal procedures.
